Our Aim : Earn 500 $ per month on adsense after 1 year
The aim of our next money making quest is making 500$ ( Rs 15,000 ) per month from 1 of our website after 1 year of marketing.
We have allocated ourselves a budget of 250$ (Rs 7500 ), and the money which we will be earning from the first year will be invested back again in the site.
I will be updating this post every month so as to keep you updated.
Lets get started:
First of all we have to find a suitable niche for our website , one which has less competition and yet is one which has a good Cost Per Click on adsense.
We have chosen the health niche and more specifically Cancer. As cancer is a word which has a lot of competition we have chosen something on cancer Symptoms and as for the moment Cancer Symptoms has about a quite low competition on google , i.e 2 million searhc results.
The domain we bought is http://cancerfeedbacks.com
First of all we bought a domain from http://www.dynadot.com for $9.25. We used Dynadot to buy this domain as they accept payment from moneybookers.
As far as hosting is concerned we already have a hosting account whereby we can addon domains. So we wont be taking into account the hosting cost.
We will be using a Worpress.org CMS. We will be modifying the default Kubrick theme so as it ressembles a Website rather than a blog, with a static first page and some modifications so as to remove the metadata like "posted by " and "time ".
After installing Wordpress and after modding it , we have posted something about cancer and added 3 links linking it to wiki. Wiki pages will help to categorise the website on SERPS.
And thats all the work we will be doing on the website for this month and i have added a link from this site to cancerfeedbacks . Building too many links in a likktle time may cause our site to be sandboxed on google.
Our objective is to get about 15 UVfor the site in the first month without any marketing.
